There’s a Lot Going on at WestSide!
JUDGMENT HOUSE: Last summer’s dramatic walk-thru presentation about choices everyone must make in their life was a huge success in so many ways and gave us a wonderful opportunity to join with other churches to see souls saved. WestSide is working on their second presentation from Judgment House. Please pray earnestly for our church’s guidance and pray for God to show you where you may used of God. This is going to be exciting!! Don’t miss your opportunity to see souls saved.
BUS MINISTRY: A wonderful opportunity to serve children and adults who might not otherwise be able to get to the church.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY: A vibrant part of WestSide, this ministry gives children from 4 to 11 an opportunity to learn, worship, play and serve together in a Christ-centered atmosphere. The C.I.A. (Children in Action) learn about and participate in missions.
CHOIR: Individuals join together through a common love of music and provide a backdrop to our praise and worship service.
DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING: To train you and aid you in your growth as a Child of God.
F.A.I.T.H. RIDERS: This is a ministry, not a riding club or gang, that just happens to use motorcycles to share the life-changing Good News with riders, bikers and others. Open to men and women who ride; and those who don’t.
FOOD BANK: Provides items for those in our church family and the community in need.
G.R.O.W.: “God Rewards Our Work.” This is an outreach team that meets weekly to write, call and visit those who are on our hearts and in our prayers.
MISSIONS NIGHT: A special night of each month when our men, women and children meet separately to learn about, plan and participate in on-going Christian missions in our community, state, nation and world. It’s just part of our active Brotherhood and W.M.U. programs.
MUSIC MINISTRY: WestSide is blessed with a wide variety of musical talent from traditional to contemporary that participate in Sunday and Wednesday services, and special programs and gatherings throughout the area.
NURSERY: Created to allow parents an opportunity to worship while their children, up to the age of three, interact and play in a safe environment.
PRAYER MINISTRY: Our prayer ministry coordinates and encourages us to be effective praying disciples for individuals, our church and our community, our nation and beyond.
RECOVERY MEALS: A ministry that provides meals to members in need as they recover from surgery or illness or giving birth.
SENIOR MINISTRY: A ministry that engages our seniors in discipleship, service and fellowship.
SHUT-IN VISITATION: Several ladies and gentlemen from the church meet every Monday evening to visit our local nursing homes and hospitals and shut-ins.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: Classes are available for all ages including nursery.
YOUTH GROUP: A mission minded group of young men and women, from 6th to 12th grade. They meet on Wednesday and Sunday evenings to study, fellowship, and do volunteer work. They have also taken mission trips in several of our southern states as well as Montana.
WestSide has ample opportunities to grow spiritually, to be the hands and feet that share the Gospel, to fellowship, and to
